The "Ski- und
Naturarena Carinthia" is the largest skiing area in Carinthia
on the Nassfeld. Come and enjoy the many attractions: winter hiking paths in unspoilt nature, the biggest cross country skiing trail network in the whole country, the biggest constantly frozen ice surface in Europe - the Weissensee lake, romantic excursions on horse drawn sleighs, floodlit tobagganing runs and cosy mountain huts.
Relaxation and peace are also some of the main attractions of this area.
The relaxation oasis „Aquarena“ in Kötschach-Mauthen offers
wellness and wellbeing. |

Also in spring, summer and
autumn this region is a top destination for all nature fans, climbers and hikers. Green meadows and deep woods, wild mountain brooks as well as
an intact fauna and flora make outdoor activities a real adventure. Come and try: mountainbiking, horse riding, climbing, hiking, biking,
canoying, paragliding and much more. An alternetive to the usual accomodation
in hotels, guesthouses and rural inns are the comfortable cosy alpine and mountain huts.
